Our Family

family_4.png

To our dearest family—thank you.

You have been our anchor through tumultuous seas and co-adventurers in distant lands.

When we lost Alisa, you were there with steady hands and warm embraces, guiding us through our heaviest grief.

You uplifted our spirits with loving holidays and continued to show your devotion in the grandest of ways: from throwing unforgettable engagement parties in New York and Virginia to welcoming us into your homes as we took our next big steps in life.

Your generosity knows no bounds—you have opened your doors, offered your time, and supported every new beginning we’ve pursued.

Now, as we look forward to saying “I do,” your gift of a dream wedding is yet another testament to the immeasurable love that holds us all together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for always believing in us, championing our joy, and reminding us what family truly means.

Our Friends

To our beloved friends—thank you.

Our journeys have crossed oceans, continents, and countless time zones, yet our bond remains stronger than any distance.

We’ve braved powdery slopes, the thrill of skiing punctuating our laughter and weaving us closer under the crisp mountain air. Your stories—told around crackling fires or on lively video calls—have taught us that home is not one place but many, and that the best companions make everywhere feel like home.

Through late-night phone calls and spontaneous visits, we nurture our shared history, built across languages and cultures, united by our passion for adventure and genuine love for one another.

Each of you holds a unique piece of our hearts, an international tapestry stitched together by curiosity, kindness, and humor.

Thank you for being the bright threads in our lives most cherished memories.

Our Fun

Our fun would not be possible without friends and family so, again—thank you

Our paths converged one studious day in an MBA classroom. Although the distance seemed great between New York and Virginia, life conveniently ensured our families were not far apart—possibility stretched out before us like a winding road, filled with laughter, late-night study sessions, and the thrill of graduating side by side.

A shared love of sushi quickly became an emblem of our unity—each roll an adventure in taste and conversation, marking special moments that only the two of us could fully understand.

Our ski trips across the United States and Canada challenged us, taught us the sweet harmony of teamwork, and ended in a proposal on the sunlit slopes of Colorado, where cold air and full hearts mingled in a cabin—only to be reached by a sleigh.

We’ve walked miles together, each step an exploration of each other’s dreams, forging a bond that guided us through the back roads of Spain and building a lean-to in the Catskills.

And now, as we stand on the brink of marriage, it’s clear that our greatest adventure is just beginning.
